Collier & Miller is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join its growing Industrial Supplies division.

Our Sales Consultants perform a critical role within the Industrial Supplies team and support our Sales Executives to deliver outstanding customer service across a range of technically challenging products.

About YOU

To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate the following:

• A commitment to developing a strong understanding of and detailed knowledge of our products
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team as well as unsupervised
• Mature attitude and self-motivation
• Ability to work well under pressure 
• Be well organised with good attention to detail 

Successful applicants will also need to meet the following requirements:

• Lift up to 20kgs
• Use pallet jacks and trolleys and build product displays
• Demonstrate effective English reading and writing skills as well as mathematical skills
• Be competent with computers
• Be available to work Saturdays and overtime as required 
• Pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test

Previous experience in industrial supplies or sales will be viewed favourably but is not essential. Collier & Miller’s experienced team will provide on the job training to support your knowledge development.

About THE ROLE

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Customer service and sales
• Liaising with clients, suppliers and colleagues to fulfil orders and requests
• Manage quotations, packing slips and backorders
• Stock replenishment, merchandising and promotional activities
• Assisting colleagues to maintain a clean and safe work environment
