About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an Orchard Hand to join our Leeton Orchard Team on a permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Carrying out scheduled irrigation and repairs to irrigation equipment, as required
- Operating machinery that you are trained and/or licenced to operate such as spray,
pruning, harvesting and general plant and equipment
- Performing tree maintenance duties and ground maintenance work
- Maintaining records
- Maintaining plant, tools and equipment on farm

To be successful in this role you will:

- Previous irrigation experience (preferred however, not essential)
- Display a positive 'can do, will do' attitude
- Be flexible to work shift work
- Willing to learn and engage in all aspects of the walnut farming operation
- Hold a current drivers licence
- Demonstrate effective communicate skills
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Work independently and without supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to safety first culture
- Carry out responsibilities with due care and responsibility
- Hold a chem cert or be willing to obtain
- While previous experience is preferred - a good attitude and strong work ethic are more important!
