Health Services

Griffith’s health care system is underpinned by the Griffith Base Hospital, a Level Four regional referral hospital offering a range of services. The St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital is collocated with the Base Hospital and delivers enhanced access to specialist health care.

Griffith residents also have access to a range of other general health services, such as General Practitioners, Dentists, pathology and other screening services. Other allied health services, including physiotherapy, podiatry and mental health services, support the wellbeing of our community, in addition to a range of alternative therapy practitioners.

Transport

Located mid way between Sydney and Melbourne in southwestern New South Wales, Griffith has a number of transport options that make travelling simple.

Griffith is well serviced by air services operated by Regional Express. With five return services every weekday between Griffith and Sydney, plus additional weekend services, other capital cities and international destinations are just one stop away.

Rail and coach operators also provide Griffith with regular alternative services to air. Daily coach and rail services connect Griffith with Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney with V-Line and CountryLink.

Griffith has its own bus service so getting from one side of town to the other is easy. And if you do have a car, you’ll enjoy stress-free driving, no traffic and ample free parking everywhere.
